as a departure from my usual vents:

i work in the IT department at a company that was named one of the THE 25 BEST SMALL COMPANIES TO WORK  FOR  (BBD is at #14).

not really a surprise given the great way they treat employees.

if i didn’t know any better i’d say comcast bought court tv. they bought tech tv and turned it into "g4 tech tv" and now all the ex tech tv guys just make fun of it…and for good reaon.

court tv (at least in the states) is becoming "TruTV". so i take it that means no daily coverage of court cases but more car chase. i like car chases as much as the next guy, but they mix and match the same dozen or so car chases and make 5 or 6 different shows about it it… with most of them hosted by (ret.) [insert snrk here] sheriff john bunnel.

i guess i could see the writing on the wall when nancy grace started heavily plugging her show for headline news, and catherine crier disappeared from the networks line-up.

what i’m wondering is who’s gonna show the new OJ "it was a sting" trial.

i meant  to write this on dec 31.

i think i know exactly how much money the local pizza hut made that night from at least 7pm on wards.

zero dollars.

this is because when i phoned to order a pizza they were closed.

that’s right. string the concepts together:

new years eve. pizza hut. closed.

not windows live writer’s fault itself, but the online help pretty much sucks dead bunnies. and i’m STILL waitig for the gallery to load so i can "add a plug-in" all in all, i’m impressed with it.

in my quest to find better blogging tools (other than writing my own) i’ve decided to try out windows live writer. i have a bit of a soft spot for eye candy unless it’s garish or bloated. i don’t think wlw is either. it works with with my regular blog also.

i need to vent more spleen and part of the problem has been multi-format blogging tools that suck.
